Creating A Site

Creating a Site

At Rochen, a Site is an isolated hosting environment for a website or application, typically associated with a single top-level domain such as example.com or example.co.uk.

Note

Subdomains and domain aliases do not count as separate Sites for billing purposes when hosted within the same hosting environment.

Creating Your First Site

If you're new to Rochen, your first Site is created as part of the signup process.

To get started, click the Start a Free Trial button in the top-right corner of any page on the Rochen website. You'll be guided through creating your My Rochen portal login and launching your first Site.

Once your account has been created, additional Sites can be added at any time through the My Rochen portal by following the steps below.

Create Additional Sites in My Rochen

  1. Sign in to the My Rochen portal.
  2. Select Hosting from the left-hand navigation.
  3. Click Create Account.
  4. If you have multiple hosting plans, select the hosting plan under which you want to create the new Site from the drop down menu.
  5. Follow the guided setup to choose your domain, website setup and hosting options. You can register or transfer a domain, use an existing domain, install a supported application, request a website migration or configure your hosting resources, depending on your hosting plan.
  6. Review any applicable charges and click Create Account.
